To destroy the boxes, simply power up your X-Buster using the Gaea Armor. However, if you're equipped with the Gaea Armor here, you can shove your way through some boxes to your right instead of going upward, leading to a whole new area. Near the beginning of the stage, you will go rightward and eventually have to work your way upward via some green ropes. You have to go through a rather complicated process to acquire this Heart Container, but it's worth it. Heart Container #7 Where?: Axle the Red's stage What?: Gaea Armor Up here, you can walk on the spikes with the Gaea Armor, so break the boxes you see there with charged Gaea Armor shots, and then work your way over the spikes rightward, where you'll have to open another sealed yellow door in the same way we opened the previous one. Like you do in the stage normally, hit the yellow electrical gadget next to the door to lock them into place, and then go through the open door. You'll ultimately want to go rightward to finish off the stage, but going leftward will bring you to a lone sealed yellow door. Near the end of the stage, a fork will appear, where you can go left or right. Heart Container #6 Where?: Squid Adler's stage What?: Gaea ArmorĮquipped with the Gaea Armor, head to Squid Adler's stage and go through a majority of it. Fly up there being careful not to touch the spikes, then go leftward through this secret area (there are some tough spots for sure up here, so use your Falcon Armor with skill!) At the far left of this area, you will find the Heart Container we seek. Don't go down, but instead look up, and you will see a spike-lined vertical pathway leading up to a secret area above. Eventually, you will have to go downward into an area below. You can work rightward through this area, fighting various robots as you go. In Duff McWhalen's stage, after you've fought both underwater enemies at the beginning part of the stage, you will come to a dry area. Obtaining the fifth Heart Container is easy, as long as you know where to go and what to look for. Heart Container #5 Where?: Duff McWhalen's stage What?: Falcon Armor you can get it without dying, but if you want to get it for sure, just land on the Heart Container to grab it automatically, and then X will die. Grab the Heart Container over the spikes. The floor below is covered in spikes, but no worry! Jump out into the pit and then ignite the Falcon Armor, flying rightward down the short corridor you encounter. Jump into the chasm, grabbing onto the right-side wall.

The bridge falls over a chasm, but the chasm is still open to access on the right side. At the very beginning of Izzy Glow's stage, you will encounter a bridge that you have to shoot to make fall. Heart Container #4 Where?: Izzy Glow's stage What?: Falcon ArmorĪcquiring this Heart Container from Izzy Glow is simplistic once you acquire the Falcon Armor. You will die grabbing it, but it's worth it!

Again use the Falcon Armor to fly rightward over the spikes, and land atop the Heart Container you encounter. Use the Falcon Armor to fly through this hole, then grab onto the walls and pull yourself up to the top of the truck, which is spike-laden. As you do, you will undoubtedly notice that at one part of this green vehicle, there's a hole in the roof leading to the top. About midway through Grizzly Slash's stage, after going over several trucks that you have to destroy, you come to a longer and more stable green vehicle that you must traverse through. Obtaining this Heart Container is simple once you've obtained the Falcon Armor. Heart Container #3 Where?: Grizzly Slash's stage What?: Falcon Armor But it's okay, because you just got a Heart Container! Don't even bother trying to get back rightward hereafter - there's no way you can escape the lava inevitably coming from the left. In this secret room below, you will find the aforementioned extra life, as well as a Heart Container. Instead of going right down there, however, head left and drop through the hole in the ground you find there. Nearing the middle of Mattrex's stage, you will have to wait for some lava to go by on the ground before dropping into the area below, where you'll have to go rightward to continue along with the stage and get out of harm's way with lava coming from your left. Acquiring this Heart Container will require X to lose a life in the process, but that's okay because it's for a Heart Container (plus in the very same room you find the Heart Container, you will also find an extra life for you to grab, so it's all gravy).
